Oh yay! Hey darling 'Addicted' - I popped in here the other night & read through your blog, but when I clicked on the comments link it wasn't working.
I am so thrilled that it is now :o)
I wanted to say that I absolutely love what you are doing!
Your sewing skills rock! I was in the same position as you many years ago, alone with my son & learned to sew through necessity. What a whole new world that opened up!
Solo Mum to one. Proud fabric hoarder. I have quite a large stash of fabrics bought over the years as well as too many patterns to counts and huge boxes of trims, motifs, elastics and accessories of all kinds. I first learnt the basic of sewing at intermediate school but it wasnt till my daughter was about 2 that I really began sewing. The first thing I made was a pink polar fleece sweatshirt for her and I have barely stopped since. I'm not a very technical sewer, I dont know much about the finer points of tailoring or adjusting patterns. Often I dont even know the correct terminology but most of the time my clothes and bags turn out ok and I think my sewing skills are getting better with everything I make.
